the same day as my mothers 24th-year death anniversary,
where just a week before I had realized I'd never buried her body,
never said goodbye,
never left the past to build my future
Tropical storm Isaias ripped up the East Coast.
Trees uprooted and smashed onto cars, power went out, and a boarded-up abandoned construction site was exposed.
I went into it, the sun warmed my ear
And I wondered how the space would hold me.

Come home Kate is the first thoughts come to mind when I watched part 2 Got nothing. Going nowhere fast. What an image seeing you going somewhere fast at an international airport in Queensland. It is a Reasonably safe state at present. That abandoned space is so huge.
