The Equinox

I grew up in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. The bush was my everyday.

I’ve been tired. A yearning to rest, to touch others, to go to the earth.

On an impromptu thought @carriemae invited me for a few days to a Buddhist retreat center, north NY state.

Today is the equinox. I had a massage (I never get massages). I told the masseuse my adrenals were shot, and I’m making a decision. the masseuse said, you're a nature person, you need the earth.

All I have wanted to do while here is lay myself at the hands of these mountains.
