The Water

Until I was a young woman, even after I managed to get a scuba diving license, I was afraid of the water. I had reoccurring dreams of an inescapable tide. And years before, before it happened, I dreamt my mother drowned in murky water.


I have been researching my family history. And few weeks back, there was a strange instance. I felt I was my mother. I was my birth. I was her death. I was her gargling lungs filling with water
